Hello! 👋 and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Victor, and I am a multimedia specialist and aspiring game designer, focusing on video production, editing, and motion graphic design. I’ve been working professionally in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years and, in that time, I have had the privilege to work with incredible people across a variety of industries, including education, corporate marketing, documentary film, and, most recently, video game production.

My specialties include high energy video edits, punchy and engaging 2D motion graphic design, and a strong command of visual storytelling that shows in almost all of my work, be it cinematic production, story supervising, script/copywriting, or otherwise!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023)

Working on Modern Warfare III, my main responsibility was overseeing the production of the game’s MBI sequences (or Mission Briefing Interstitials). In this role, I acted as story supervisor, meeting with writers to iterate on scripts that ensured necessary plot information was being addressed. I also worked with a team of motion graphic artists and audio engineers to bring these scenes from storyboards to final polish.

Infographic Example: SHG Innovation Lab

This motion graphic project showcases my abilities at creating infographics. I was tasked with designing and executing this explainer video that promoted the studio’s “Innovation Lab” program, encouraging team members to use hours on Fridays for projects not necessarily related to our game, in an effort to broaden skillsets. All design, animation, and storyboarding was completed by myself, working with a representative of the program who focused on the script.

Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021)

On Call of Duty: Vanguard, one of my main responsibilities was designing, animating, and editing our crucial story video, which was an asset that overviewed the entire narrative course of the game. In this highly intensive motion graphic comic, I spent months painstakingly working with concept artists, splitting up layers of comic panels in Photoshop, and bringing them to life in After Effects.

Hype Edits: COD Community Highlights

A large part of my work with Sledgehammer Games was as unofficial “hype man”. A lot of times, this included editing sizzle reels or hype pieces to celebrate our team’s hard work or to spotlight specific teams’ accomplishments. This is a hype edit I put together to celebrate the success of our team’s live seasons during Modern Warfare III, utilizing clips from various YouTube personalities and streamers, showcasing some light graphic design as well as tight and energetic pacing.
